Two weeks ago my car was, short of pulling the motor, stripped down to a bare shell...

Kinja'd!!!

Two weeks of being in the shop until at least midnight every night after a full day of work, my car is reassembled and I was finally able to hear this for the first time in 9 months...

It was also felt great that even after having the whole car apart it fired right up as if it had never been apart in the first place. Time to go take it for a rip.

Man, isn’t that a sweet sound? Even in an older car where the timing might be off and the idle not set right just the sound of it running on its own is the best thing ever.

If you see some of my previous posts it was mainly for rust repair, and I also added a surge tank set-up to hopefully eliminate fuel starvation at lower fuel levels at the track.
